Q. Will the centre be open for business as per usual?
A. Yes the centre will be operating as per usual
Q. What are the key features of the redevelopment?
A: The key features of the redevelopment include a new ALDI opposite Woolworths, a Nido Early Learning Childcare Centre next to Bridgestone Tyres and a refurbished Fresh Food Zone in the Woolworths Mall. A new pedestrian access on Old Trafford Avenue will improve the convenience and accessibility to Kingsway City for customers residing in the locality to the North of the Centre.
Q: How will parking be affected during the redevelopment and will there be a new car park after completion?
A: With over 1,200 parking bays, there is minimal impact to parking access during the redevelopment. Upon completion of the redevelopment, there will be a new car park and service yard to the North of the Centre, as well as a car park servicing customers of Nido Early Learning Childcare Centre.
Q. Will the entry doors be closed at any stage of the redevelopment?
A: Both entry doors on Wanneroo Road and Hepburn Avenue will remain open throughout the redevelopment.
Q. When will works be completed?
A: A mid-September 2019 completion is targeted for ALDI , the refurbished Fresh Food Zone. Nido Early Learning Childcare Centre is targeted for completion by end July 2019.
Q. Will tenants location be shifted?
A: As part of the redevelopment, several tenants will have to be relocated. Minu Threading will be relocating to Shop 5 (Opposite Priceline Pharmacy). Mass.Age Massage will relocate to Shop 47 (Opposite Sportspower). Stay Healthy will relocate to Shop 16 (Opposite Telstra), and Kingsway Bakery and Patisserie will be closed from end April 2019 and reopen next to ALDI in a brand new store upon completion of the works.
